Join us for our monthly general membership meeting on Tuesday, January 25th from 6-7:30 pm to learn more about what's happening at RIBBA and about relevant opportunities for you and your business to take advantage of.

This month, we have J.Adrian Lawrence, Senior Counsel, who will present on "Intellectual Property - Your Most Important Business Asset". In addition, we will be providing you with an important update on COVID-19 Relief Fund Programs.



About the presenter: J. Adrian Lawrence,Senior Counsel

Bio:  Adrian is a corporate attorney with a practice focused on Intellectual Property. He is a former scientist and a former engineer turned attorney.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Graduate degrees in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, and a Juris Doctor.  For the past 16 years he has work as a key partner for clients in various industries both in the US and internationally, where he has handled IP litigations in Kenya, Australia, Germany and Sweden.  The first 10 years of his legal practice were spent in law firms in Boston and New York where he represented pharmaceutical companies on all aspects of IP strategies, IP acquisitions, IP monetization, and IP enforcement and litigation. Over the past 5 years, he has worked in-house as Senior IP Counsel and as Chief IP Counsel for two separate multi-national conglomerates, where he has held responsibilities for developing IP strategies and managing all aspects of the company’s IP function. He is licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts and has appeared before the US Supreme Court, the US District Court, and various foreign courts and tribunals. He is a proud immigrant and the first in his family to attend college, first to attend graduate school and first to attend law school.
